[George is in the infirmary. He looks slightly green around the gills (not that he has gills), but otherwise well.]

That was quite unpleasant. I don't believe I like myself when I am angry.

And I hope I didn't put anyone out too much, particularly you, Captain Angua. And Dick: I do of course trust you completely with any of my bodily fluids.

Of course, Miss Wanda. I certainly don't think there was anything anyone could have done that wasn't attempted. I should have been more careful, that's all.

This sucks. But...at least you didn't have a well meaning friend turn you into a giant pie or something.

Yeah, I...have a lot of power and not that good control. If I told them to make George a giant rhubarb pie, they might take me literally.

Oh, Detective! I'm afraid I had a bit of an accident, was transformed into some sort of huge green rampaging creature, and then my heart gave out on me. Luckily it's all a bit of a blur now.

ALL THE CARING.

[Hoffman stares at him. and stares. and.]

huge green rage monster. Sounds like something out of Marvel Comics. [The name escapes him though. Good lord. He moves closer to the bed.]

How long are you laid up for? Can I get you anything?

I hope to be up and about by tomorrow. But until then, some reading material wouldn't go amiss.

[Hoffman considers this for a moment and realizes, point blank that he never took the time to learn about George's world-while George was manfully doing his best to keep up with theirs.

He sat down a moment, studied the other man before nodding.] ...do you have any particular requests? Or can I pick and chose.

[Angua's looking a little pale, but otherwise unharmed. She's even brushed her hair, which was sorely starting to need it after all that time up on the windy roof.]
