Case # 18: Voice
[Breathless! Distraught! Accent!]
This is Constable George Crabtree: I need...oh, please say that there's an appropriately aged doctor about still?
Only I tried to check in on Mr. Spinola, in case he had become elderly, but I couldn't get a response from him by communications device, and he wasn't answering his door so I'm afraid I had no recourse but to break it down, and now there's no rousing him!
[George sounds like he's speaking while driving over railroad tracks. This is because he's shaking Eddie as hard as he can.]
...also I think my shoulder may bruise slightly...

Re: Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! - speak of the devil.
Constable? [He stuck his head around the door, and saw another man there,] I presume you have come to help too, si?
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! - o hai doctor
Yes. He's alright, we really just need to get him to the infirmary.
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! And then I say something!
[Right?]
Mind the cat.
Re: Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! And then a spanish dude is back!
The cat, by comparison, isn't nearly as strange, and he steps around it carefully to where Eddie was,]
Are you medically trained, Mr Parry? [He couldn't really doubt it on anything but age, as he was new here and hardly knew anyone. Eddie, meanwhile, he concluded was definitely alive but unresponsive.] The infirmary is the best place for him, I agree. I'll help you move him.
[He was a lot stronger than his age gave away, to be honest.]
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! And now the English teenager + cat is back!
He stood up, turning to face the other two and pointed at the stretcher, which was still floating innocently out of the way.] It'll support his weight.
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! I'm waiting for the cat to weigh in.
[George isn't sure he believes that bit, even though he can see it.]
Re: Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! it will have profound input.
[Caesares, a little skeptical, and trying to keep up with the three-thousand-developments-a-second his first day was going with, presses his foot down on the edge of the stretcher, expecting it to move. It takes his weight and he stands back.]
You do appear to be right. Very well.
[On a scale of one to very, very weird, this was now at five, then the cat and then the coma situation. He moved back, preparing to move Eddie,] Let's get on with it, then.
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! She would, she just hasn't talked to anyone on the Barge yet :P
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! Speak up cat!
Re: Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! tell us all your seeeekrits!
[One way or another, they ended up with Eddie on a stretcher. Caesares merely added 'enchanted by another warden' to his list of pending questions.]
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! nevarrrr
Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! Curse you cat!
