Case #22: Video
[Someone looks nauseous. (It's George.) He's walking somewhat unsteadily through a hallway.]
Mr. Spinola? If you could just...let me know that you remain unharmed... I'm not sure what it is I might have done to deserve my removal as your warden, but I am...I am sorry.
I...need to locate Mr. Slater.
...
I think I may be sick.
[And George is gentlemanly enough to turn the camera away.]

Did you throw up outside my door?

Not yet. Could I come in and sit down?

[George slinks into the room. His colour improves almost immediately.]
It seems to be passing somewhat.

[George is looking more himself by the minute.]
Are you quite alright?

[The kettle starts to boil.] Wax melts.

[George eyes the kettle.]
I know, that's why I asked. You didn't happen to request a new warden, did you?
no subject
No. I've done nothing.

[George removes his notebook from where it lives wedged between his belt and his hip.]
Ah. It's just:
[He flips it open to the first page, where the name "Eddie Spinola" has been crossed out, and "Roy Slater" has been written. The handwriting is very careful, and, in case you were wondering, is George's, although he did not write it.]
Not that I mind chatting with you.
no subject
[He shrugs.] Nothing to do with me.

[And George moves toward the door...]
Mr. Slater? I...appear to be unable to move any farther...

[George paces slowly along his invisible border.]
A flood which, but giving everyone nausea, encourages them to stay in your rooms? Well you aren't going to have near enough chairs.

[George's logic makes sense to George okay.]

[George returns to Slater's side.]
You think it's only affecting you and I? Some sort of sticking us together flood?

Thank goodness for small favors.
Well. If this lasts into the night I suppose I'll take the floor. Or we could move to my rooms and you could take my bed and I'll set something up with the bathtub.

An' I gotta sofa bed. [He points.] That thing turns into a normal bed if you fold it out.
no subject
[George eyes the sofa like it might transform in front of him.]
Does it really?
