Friday evening, after dinner, there's to be a party in my rooms for Sergeant Howie. Anybody who'd like may come.

[George leans in toward the communicator, and stage whispers for some inexplicable reason:]

But please don't let on to him, as it's meant to be a surprise.

[Added later and hastily:]

Oh, and: I'm in 5-5.

It's incredibly chocolately, is what it means. There's loads of chocolate in it.

And it's called a monkey because monkeys like bananas and nuts.

That doesn't sound anything like death to me. Unless you're the sort who can't handle their chocolate.

I suppose monkeys do like nuts...
