What on Earth is going on out there? Everyone is making very little sense, and there was a very disturbing broadcast made. There have been very few check-ins as well. How many went to port? Has something happened to them?

It is much easier to travel distances, though security measures are extremely irritating.

Well, we have these devices called airplanes, which fly thousands of feet in the air. If there's trouble in an airplane, then it's quite difficult to handle because you're so separated from everything else. So they try to avoid that by making everyone go through security measures beforehand.

Yes, but what sorts of measures?

They make you take off your shoes to make sure you don't have any bombs in them, and look at the insides of all your possessions.
